The Toyota Land Cruiser is an icon of automotive manufacturing. This illustrious off-road vehicle was developed by the Japanese company Toyota Motor Corporation in the 1950s. It is in fact the longest-lasting product of its type produced by the "rising sun" company. It has continuously evolved in terms of design, engine capacity and other technological features that have been progressively introduced into the series. Among the best known and most recognizable models is the "J-40" series, produced from the 1960s to the 1980s.
 
Particularly characterized by a classic and conservative design, it has been acclaimed by the industry for its robustness and reliability. The J-40 was available in three wheelbases: short, medium (like the J-44 which achieved great commercial success) and long.
